Our Mission
Japan America Transportation Historical Organization is a Washington State non profit organization with pending 501(c)(3) status. At JATHO, we are dedicated to celebrating the enduring friendship between the United States and Japan. Our mission focuses on preserving transportation history, highlighting how these two nations have connected through innovative vehicles and infrastructure, as well as the engineering and science behind them. We are actively collecting artifacts and raising funds to build a permanent museum in the Pacific Northwest.
